This is a brand new, high quality k-type thermometer for contact temperature measurements. It has two inputs for K-type thermocouples and can display T1 or T2. It also allows to display the differential temperature T1-T2 . It can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces. It conveniently allows to measure an inlet and an outlet temperature. It is also great for science fair projects and whenever you need a precise measurement of two temperatures. Also used in re-flowing and to measure the temperature on computer chips. It comes with two 3 ft (1 m) temperature probes, they have a glass fiber insulation and work up to about 500°F (260°C) , but any other K-type probe with miniature thermocouple connector can be used. To use the thermometer for temperatures above 500 degree you would need a special thermocouple with a ceramic insulation (not included) or one of the stainless steel k-type thermocouple probes.
